The Services to Youth Facet works to prepare young people to succeed in the global workforce by implementing programs designed to close the educational achievement gap from pre-K through college.

- Launched an integrated STEM education program led by STEM professionals and educators in the chapter. This initiative is leveraging the partnership between the Links, Incorporated and the Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) to establish the area’s first Links-NSBE Jr. chapter. Post-Pandemic the chapter will underwrite travel and STEM camps for students who would not otherwise be able to take advantage of the program.
- Established and nurtured an endowment at Virginia Union University named for one of the chapter’s charter members that now stands at $140,000.
- Developed a program focused on male students at John Marshall High School. The first cohort of participants graduated this year (2020) with GPAs above 3.0 and a high percentage planning to attend Junior or four-year institutions.
